I'm a software engineer by profession, and a photographer by curiosity.
I grew up in Auroville, an international community in southern India, and eventually moved to Paris to pursue a Master's in Software Engineering at ISEP. Somewhere along the way, a curiosity about how websites worked turned into a career in building them.
Building with curiosity and restraint
Today, I work as a Software Engineer at Société Générale, where I've spent most of my career building and evolving internal web applications used across the organisation. I've had the chance to work across the stack, take ownership of features from idea to delivery, and gradually take on more responsibility within the teams I've worked with. What I enjoy most about software isn't necessarily the technology itself. It's figuring things out — understanding a problem, finding a sensible solution, and turning it into something that is useful and easy to work with. I like learning new technologies, but I'm equally interested in knowing when not to use them.
Capturing quiet light and geometry
Outside of software, photography has become one of my favourite ways to slow down and pay attention. I enjoy exploring new places, finding interesting light and perspectives, and capturing moments that would otherwise pass by unnoticed. More recently, I've also been exploring FPV drone photography and videography, which has given me an entirely different way of seeing the places I visit.
